Dear Friend—I am so grateful that you have taken some time to check out my blog! Maybe God has convicted your heart about the need for campus ministry, and how important it is to reach out to university students. Or perhaps you’re reflecting back on your own college experience–did you have some faith struggles as a student, or were you able to find fellowship with a group of fellow Christians? Did you come to faith in Christ as a college student, as so many have? It could even be that you have some particular connection to CU or the city of Boulder. But regardless of what brought you here, I’d love to hear back from you! I draw such strength from the witness and life experiences of other Christians, and regularly getting to hear stories of how God is moving in the lives of others is one of the real privileges of being involved in ministry.
My yearly goal is to raise $50,000 to fund my ministry in Boulder. This figure reflects the cost of living in the area, and has been agreed upon in conjunction with the mission board. If you believe in the ministry I am going to be doing at CU, and would like to support me—there are three ways to do so. You can go to my online giving portal at: msc.kintera.org/blakeleywinslow You also can send in a check directly to the North American Mission Board (“NAMB”). Their address is NAMB, P.O. Box 116543, Atlanta, GA 30368-6543. Please make the check out to “North American Mission Board” or “NAMB” but then provide my name and account number (10134) on the memo line of the check. Thanks to the Mission Board’s logistical support, you can be confident too that 100% of the money you send will be given to me, with nothing deducted for administrative expenses. Also, there is an option to make regular contributions through Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), which automatically drafts from your checking account each month. Here is the Electronic Funds Transfer brochure. Again, when you write the initial check, be sure to include my name and my account number (10134) in the memo section! If you have further questions, or just want to get in touch—please contact me at my email address—email@example.com. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your prayers, encouraging words, and donations! It is both humbling and uplifting at the same time to see God’s provision at work through the gifts of His people. The continual generosity of the Body of Christ is truly what makes my ministry possible!
